2018 Science + Surf Field Course

Join us on an adventure! During this 10-day course, participants will learn from scientists about reptiles, rocky shore invertebrates, insects and arachnids. This experience is open to anyone and will include beach combing for fossils, fireside science chats, visits to indigenous sites, and surf!

About the event
Do you love Nature? Want to learn more about the largest protected area in Latin America? Love surfing or want to learn?
Our course is open to all, but limited to 10 participants, to ensure that everyone is able to have unique experiences with our visiting scientists.
This year we will hold a 10-Day field adventure focusing on:
* Desert Mammals and Reptiles
* Community Service Project
* Marine Biology

Age Restrictions
This course is geared towards adult participants (18+). If you are under 18, check out our Family Science + Surf course!

We don't want cost to be a barrier to participation. While we do not have financial aid available, we are more than happy to help you come up with strategies for successful fundraising.
